Privacy Policy

Effective date: 31 October 2026

1. Who this policy covers

This policy explains how No1Services handles information when you browse the marketplace, create a customer or partner account, make or manage a booking, visit a physical shop, or contact support. It applies to information collected through this website and its booking workflows.

2. Information we handle

Depending on how you use the service, information may include:

  • Account details such as your name, email address, phone number, role, and password credentials. Passwords are stored as password hashes, not as readable passwords.
  • Location and booking details such as your selected service area, address, coordinates used to find nearby shops or partners, appointment time, queue number, service selection, and booking status.
  • Partner and shop information such as business profile, service skills, shop address, availability, and location updates submitted through the partner workspace.
  • Service records such as start/completion verification state, customer-approved additional work, revisits, payment references or confirmations, receipts, reviews, and support messages.
  • Technical and security data used to operate the service, such as request information needed for authentication, rate limiting, fraud prevention, troubleshooting, and platform security.

The location used for shop discovery is the area selected on the homepage. If you use a browser location feature elsewhere in the website, your browser will ask for permission before sharing that location.

3. How information is used

We use information to create and secure accounts, display relevant services, check service-area and shop availability, assign and manage bookings, calculate queue estimates, provide one-time verification codes, process booking changes, prepare receipts, respond to support requests, display reviews, and operate, maintain, and protect the platform.

4. When information is shared

Information is shared only as needed to provide or protect the service, comply with law, or handle a request you make. For example, a partner assigned to a booking receives the customer and service details needed to perform it; a customer sees the assigned shop's public profile and booking status; and authorized administrators may review operational records to resolve issues or manage the platform. Service providers that host the website, deliver account emails, or support platform operations may process information on our behalf under their applicable terms and safeguards.

Shop reviews may be displayed with the service and comment, without displaying the reviewer's identity in the shop listing. We do not display one customer's private booking details to another customer.

5. Location, browser storage, and authentication

The selected service area is stored in browser local storage so the website can remember your location preference. The website also stores the sign-in token and basic signed-in user data in browser local storage. Do not use a shared or public device without signing out. Shop discovery sends the selected area's coordinates to the backend to calculate distance and eligibility; it does not require you to enter coordinates on the shop booking screen.

Authentication and booking verification codes are used for their stated purpose and expire according to platform security settings. Never share a verification code with a person claiming to be support or a partner.

6. Retention and security

We retain account, booking, financial-reference, review, and support records for as long as needed to operate the service, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations, and protect platform users. Retention periods may vary by record type and applicable law. We use access controls and technical safeguards designed to protect information, but no internet service or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

7. Your choices and requests

You can update certain profile and booking details in your account. You may contact support.no1services@gmail.com to ask about access, correction, or deletion of personal information. Some records may need to be retained to complete a booking, prevent fraud, resolve a dispute, or comply with legal obligations. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

You can manage browser location permissions through your browser settings and clear saved location or sign-in data by clearing the website's local storage. Clearing the sign-in token will sign you out.

8. Children and third-party links

The marketplace is not intended for children to create accounts or make bookings without a parent or legal guardian where required by law. The website may link to third-party services; their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

9. Changes and contact

We may update this policy when our practices or legal obligations change. The latest version and effective date will be posted here. For privacy questions or requests, contact support.no1services@gmail.com.
